Dr Shiv Kumar Clinic

I started this clinic in Gumri a while back. It’s a small place, nothing fancy. We deal with people from the neighborhood every day. Sometimes it gets busy, especially in the mornings when folks drop by before work. Dr. Shiv Kumar usually handles the check-ups himself. We’ve seen all sorts of cases here over the years. The walls might need a fresh coat of paint soon, but the equipment works fine. People know where to find us. It’s right there on the main road in Gumri, so you can’t really miss it. We don't have a big waiting room, just a few chairs. Most people just stand outside and chat while waiting for their turn. It’s just how things go here. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long. It’s a straightforward setup. We have a small desk for the records and some basic medicine stocks. Most of the people coming in are regulars who live nearby. They know us and we know them. It makes the day go by faster when you recognize the faces. We aren’t trying to be some big city hospital. Just a local clinic doing what needs to be done for the folks around Gumri. If you walk past the shop area, you’ll see our sign. It’s a bit faded now but still readable. We open early most days because that's when people need us most. Sometimes the rains make the roof a bit noisy, but we manage.
