Crayons Play School

We started Crayons Play School at Gupta Sadan in Gonda a few years back. It is the same building where Anurag Coaching Institute is located, so the spot is well-known by most families in the area. We wanted to have a place where the little kids in Gonda could spend their mornings. The setup is simple and we did not want anything too complicated. We have got some toys and enough space for them to run around and play. Gupta Sadan is a sturdy old building and we have made the most of the rooms we have available to us. Dealing with small children means every single day is different and usually quite noisy. You can often hear the kids playing or laughing from the street outside. We do not try to be anything we are not. It is just a local school for the families living nearby who need a safe spot for their children during the day. Our staff are mostly local people who know the parents personally. We see these kids growing up and eventually moving on to the bigger schools after they leave us. Gonda is a mostly quiet town, but our corner stays active with the morning drop-offs. We have painted the walls to make it look nice for the little ones. It is not a giant campus, just a comfortable space in a building people recognize. We spend our mornings getting everything ready before the first group arrives.
