We are Belsar Organic Farming Producer Company Limited. Our main office is located at H.No.186 in the village of Niyama. We are part of the Tarabganj area, and the office is actually situated at Sri Jai Prakash’s place. Being a producer company means we work closely with the farmers around here. Niyama is a typical village where everyone knows each other. We aren't some big corporation from the city. We are right here where the crops are grown. Our days are mostly spent talking to local growers and figuring out the best ways to manage the organic farming side of things. It is a lot of walking around and visiting different fields. We don't have a fancy corporate office with air conditioning. We sit in a regular house and discuss things over tea. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phone signal drops out because we are a bit remote. That’s just life in a village. We deal with the seasons as they come. If it rains, we talk about the mud. If it’s dry, we talk about irrigation. It is very grounded work. We started this because we wanted to organize the local farming a bit better. There are no marketing experts here. It is just us and the farmers trying to make a living. We keep our records in simple ledgers and try to help each other out when the harvest time gets busy. That's the way things go in Tarabganj.
