Out here in Nalchar, we have our little place called Nalchar Bhumi Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are specifically located in Kathaliamura. It’s a quiet area mostly. We work with the land and the people who farm it. There isn't any big corporate office here, just a room where we keep our records and meet people. We spend a lot of time out in the fields or talking to the neighbors. It is how things get done in this part of the world. We don't use big words or have fancy meetings. If there is a problem with the crop or the sales, we sit down and talk it through. Life in Kathaliamura is steady. We see the same faces every day. Being a farmer producer company means we are just a bunch of locals looking after our own interests together. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where to find us if they need us. We keep our doors open during the day. Sometimes we stay late if there is a lot of harvesting happening. It is honest work and it keeps us busy enough. We are just glad to be working in Nalchar where we grew up. It’s home for us. We don't need much else to be honest. It is a humble existence but we like being around the soil and the plants all year round.
