Tata Hitachi

You can find us out in the Golaghat district of Assam. We are located at Bipin Gogoi's place in the village of Puranimeliya. The post office is Habichukiya, which is the main point for our mail. It is a very green and quiet area. Tata Hitachi is represented here in this small village setting. To get to us, you have to travel through some very nice scenery with trees and open fields. The office is basically a room in the house that has been set up for work. It is very different from a city office. We hear the birds and the sounds of the village all day. The air is fresh, which is a nice change from the dusty roads. We have a few desks and a couple of cupboards for our equipment. Bipin Gogoi is well known around here, so everyone can point you to the house. We don't have a big neon sign, just the usual village house look. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow because of the location, but we manage. We drink a lot of local tea while we work. It is a very calm and steady environment. No one is in a rush like they are in the big cities. We just do what needs to be done. It is a humble place, but it is where we are. Usually, the day ends early so we can head home before it gets too dark.
