R.S.Kakaria Stores

We’ve been running R.S.Kakaria Stores here in Village Khanikar for quite some time now. You can find us right on Nh-39 in Sarupathar, specifically in the Golaghat district. People around here know the spot. It’s a local place. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that, just the shop. Most days we are busy dealing with whatever comes through the door. It's a simple setup. If you are driving through Sarupathar on the highway, we are right there. The weather gets a bit humid sometimes, but we keep the doors open anyway. We handle a bit of everything that the village needs. It's mostly about keeping the stock ready for whoever stops by. Sometimes it gets quiet, sometimes it's crowded with neighbors. We've seen a lot of changes in the area over the years, but the store stays pretty much the same. We just focus on the daily tasks. We don't spend much time on the computer, to be honest. Usually, we are behind the counter or checking the inventory in the back. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. We don't really do advertisements or anything. Just word of mouth from people passing through on Nh-39. If you need us, you just come to Khanikar and ask. It's a straightforward life here. We just try to get things right for the folks who live nearby and need supplies for their homes every day.
