Common Service Centre

We are situated in Village No2 Doigrung, out in the Morangi Tehsil of Golaghat district. Being in a rural area like this means we are a bit of a hub for the local folks who need help with various digital tasks or paperwork. Our center is near the Letekujan post office, so people often combine their trips to see us with their mail runs. It’s a quiet life out here in the village, surrounded by greenery and the usual sounds of the countryside. Our office is simple, just a room with the necessary connectivity to get things done for the community. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet gets a bit slow, but that is just part of living in this part of Assam. We know almost everyone who walks through the door by their first name. People come to us when they need to get a form filled out or print something important. We don't have any big corporate goals, we just want to make sure the people in Doigrung don't have to travel all the way into Golaghat town for every little thing. It's a small operation, usually just one or two of us here during the day. We take our time with each person because that's how things work in the village. We just provide a practical way for our neighbors to get their tasks done without too much trouble.
