We are set up at 455/7 over in Khanagaon Taluk, right near the post office in Khanapur. It is a quiet area most of the time compared to the bigger cities. We spend our days working on different art pieces and craft items. The building is older but it has plenty of room for all the materials we keep on hand. You can usually find us surrounded by paints, brushes, and whatever wood or fabric we are using that day. The windows are large so we get a lot of natural light which helps when you are trying to see small details. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to say hello or see what is being made. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools. The floor is often covered in scraps or sawdust by the time evening rolls around. We make sure to sweep up before we head home. It is a bit of a drive to get out here if you aren't from the taluk, but it’s a nice spot. We have a heavy wooden door that sticks a bit when it rains. The air smells like wood and old paper most days. We just focus on getting the work done and keeping the orders moving out. It’s not a fast-paced environment but we stay busy enough to keep the place running through the seasons.
