G10 Organic Exporter

Our place is at 84-6-35 in Shankar Nagar, which is over in Athani. G10 Organic Exporter is a bit of a long name for what is essentially a small group of us working out of a warehouse. We focus on organic products, which means we spend a lot of time checking where things come from. It’s not always easy because people have different ideas about what organic means, so we have to be careful. The building stays relatively cool even in the summer, which is good for the products we store. We aren't a big company with a board of directors. It’s mostly just me and a couple of guys from the neighborhood. We spend a lot of time sorting through bags and making sure everything is labeled correctly before it goes out. Athani is a decent place to be based because it’s easy for the local producers to reach us. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just some tables and chairs and a few shelves. The floor is concrete and can be hard on the feet, but we’re used to it. We don't really do much in the way of promotion. Most of our work comes from people who have heard about us through word of mouth. It’s a slow and steady way to do things, but it works for us. We just try to stay honest and do the work right. There is always something to be done when morning comes and we open up the doors again.
