About Tayal Marbles Co. – Building & Construction Material in Gohana
Tayal Marbles Co. sits right on Meham Road. You can’t miss it because of all the large slabs of stone leaning against the walls outside. It’s a dusty place, that’s for sure. Marble and stone work creates a lot of white powder that seems to get on everything, including our clothes and the old truck parked out front. We spend most of the day walking around the yard showing people different patterns and colors. Some stones are heavy and need the crane to move, while others we can handle ourselves. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the middle of the day, so we have a small tin-roofed shed where we sit to do the billing. It’s simple and gets the job done. Meham Road is a main path for trucks, so there is always a layer of grit on the office windows. We’ve been here long enough that we know the local builders and the families looking to fix up their kitchens. We don't use any fancy sales talk. We just show the stone, tell them the price, and figure out how to get it to their site. The sound of the saws cutting through the rock is a constant background noise. By the time we close up, we are usually pretty tired and covered in dust, but it’s a good kind of work. It’s honest and solid and we’ve been here for many years.
