We’ve been running Just Washing Point for a good while now right here in Gohana. If you head down towards Drain No. 8 and look near the petrol pump you will see us working. It is not a fancy setup or anything like that but we have what we need to get the jobs done. Most days start early when the sun is just coming up and we stay busy until late. There is always a lot of mud and dust coming off the road so there is never a shortage of things to clean. We just use standard soap and water and some elbow grease to get the grime off. Sometimes the machines act up or the water pressure isn't perfect but we manage to fix things as we go. It’s a local spot where people from the neighborhood just drop by when their vehicles look a bit rough. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing fancy paperwork because the real work is out there with the hoses. The air smells like detergent most of the time which you get used to after a week or two. My cousin helps out when it gets really packed on the weekends. We just try to keep things moving so nobody is waiting too long out in the heat. It is a simple life and we like being part of the community here near the pump.
