Down on Old Gohana Road, there’s always a lot of noise and traffic. Our place, Avolet Agrofoods & Research Privatelimited, is tucked away in Shastri Colony at 568/23. It’s a practical kind of place. We spend our days dealing with food products and trying to understand how to keep them fresh and good for people to eat. It isn’t just about buying and selling. We actually look into the science of the food, even if our lab isn't some high-tech place you'd see in a movie. We use what we have and we work hard at it. Most days involve a lot of checking and re-checking things. We have piles of notebooks and samples sitting on the desks. The road outside is always busy with trucks, so it gets a bit dusty, but we don't mind much. It’s just part of being in this part of town. We are locals who just wanted to do something useful with the agro-food business. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know their way around a grain bag and a test tube. It’s quiet inside compared to the street, which is nice for when we have to concentrate on the research bits. We aren't doing this to get famous. We just like the work and the fact that we can help out with the food supply stuff right here from Shastri Colony. It is just what we do every day.
