Out here in Bhamarpali, things move at a bit of a slower pace. Brajadhumi Paddy Processing Pvt. Ltd. is our little operation in the Binika area. We spend most of our time out in the yard or near the processing units. It’s a lot of work dealing with the paddy, especially when the harvest comes in. Everything gets very frantic then. We have a small crew of locals who have been with us for years. We aren't really into big advertisements. Most people in Binika know where we are. The mill itself is a sturdy building that has seen better days, but it gets the job done. We spend a lot of time cleaning the machines and making sure the bags are tied tight. It’s a dirty job, and we usually end the day covered in dust. There is no air conditioning or fancy desks here. We just have a small office where we keep the books. We just show up and do the work every day. The weather really dictates our schedule out here in Bhamarpali. If it rains, we have to move fast to keep everything dry. It’s a way to earn a living and it keeps our families fed. We aren't trying to change the world, just processing the grain that comes our way.
