If you know the old bus stand in Godhra, then you know exactly where Anand Agency is located. We are sitting right opposite that spot, next to Shankar Lodge. It is a very old part of the city and things can get a bit crowded during the day. Our office is simple and we have been operating out of this Gujarat location for a long time. There is a lot of foot traffic around here because of the lodge and the buses, so it never really stays quiet. We keep ourselves busy with the paperwork and the daily orders that come in. It is not a modern office with glass walls or anything like that. We have wooden desks and a lot of ledgers piled up. Most of our neighbors have been here as long as we have. We see the same faces every day passing by. It’s a comfortable routine for us. People stop by to chat or finish their business and then move on. Sometimes the heat in Godhra gets a bit much, but we have the fans going. We just do our work and go home at the end of the day. We don’t really try to be anything we aren't. It’s a local agency run by local people who know the area well. You just look for the lodge and you will see our sign hanging out front. It’s been there for years and the paint is peeling a bit, but it still works fine for us.
