Max Technology

You have to go all the way up to the third floor of the Shree Ram Complex to find Max Technology. We are right near the bus stand, so there is always a huge amount of noise and people rushing around on the street outside. The elevator in this building is a bit slow and grumpy, so most of us just take the stairs unless we are carrying something really heavy. Being on the third floor gives us a decent view of the street, though it’s mostly just the tops of the colorful buses and people running to catch their rides home. The office itself is just a regular room with some sturdy tables and a lot of wires running along the floor. It gets quite warm in the summer months, but we have a small AC unit in the window that tries its best to keep up. There’s a pile of old cardboard boxes in the corner that we keep meaning to throw away, but somehow they just stay there month after month. We spend most of our time either staring at computer screens or talking on the phone with someone. It is not a fancy setup at all. We have a small electric kettle for making tea, and that’s about as far as our kitchen stuff goes. Sometimes the hallway smells like the spicy food from the stall downstairs, which makes us hungry well before our actual lunch break.
