Khatri Rice Mill

Khatri Rice Mill is located at Shop No.430 in Village Rameshwaram. We are right near Maruti Studio in the Panch Mahals district. It’s a bit of a different setup here since we are more of a shop-front style compared to some of the bigger mills. We still do the same work, just on a scale that fits our space. The area around Maruti Studio is usually quite lively, so there is always people passing by. We started small and have just stayed that way because it’s easier to manage. I run the place with my son. We handle everything from the intake to the final bagging. It’s a tight space, so we have to stay organized, or we won’t be able to move around. We don't use any high-tech systems, just some old-fashioned scales and our own eyes. It works well enough for what we need. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise, so we try not to run the machines too late in the evening. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big numbers or fancy talk. We just want to provide a decent service to the farmers in the village. It’s a lot of long hours, but we are used to it by now. If you need us, we are usually there from dawn until the sun sets, just doing our daily rounds.
