Godhra is where we have been for a long time, specifically in the Nava Bazar area in Patelwada. Metro Radio Electric Co. is an old-fashioned kind of shop. We have drawers filled with tiny components, wires hanging from the walls, and old radios sitting on the upper shelves gathering dust. It is a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly where the fuses and switches are kept. Most of our day is spent at the counter, talking to people who have something broken or need a specific part for a project. We are right in the middle of the local market, so there is always someone walking by or stopping in to chat. It’s not just about selling things; it’s about knowing the people in Godhra and helping them out when their gadgets stop working. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just have the shop and the sign out front. Sometimes it’s quiet and we just sit and listen to the street noise, and other times three people are asking for different things at once. It can be a bit chaotic with all the small parts everywhere and the smell of solder in the air. But we like the routine of opening up in the morning and seeing who comes through the door in Patelwada. It is just our way of life and we wouldn't change it much.
