Jaykant Construction Private Limited is set up on the ground floor of House No. 157A in Mahagama. This is in the Godda district of Jharkhand, and you can find us right at Jaykant Prasad Singh’s place. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to drop by without having to climb any stairs. The office stays relatively cool compared to the street outside, though we still keep the fans going most of the year. Mahagama is a place where you really feel the change of seasons, especially when the monsoon hits and the mud makes getting to sites a bit of a challenge. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting around the table going over site drawings. It is a basic setup with everything we need to keep the business moving. We see a lot of the same faces every day, from the local workers to the people delivering supplies. There is no big reception desk or anything like that; you just walk in and talk to whoever is available. We handle the paperwork and the planning right here in Godda. It is about keeping things organized and making sure the projects do not stall. Sometimes we have to deal with delays or material shortages, which is part of the job in this area. We just try to keep things steady and get through the list of tasks we have for the day.
