Anika Cemented Brick Industry is a small place located right here in Godda, specifically in Village Dumaria. It’s an OPC private limited company, which mostly means it is a one-person operation handled by a local. We spend our days making bricks out of cement for people in the neighborhood who are building houses or fixing up their walls. The yard is at House No 27. Usually, you can find us there during daylight hours. It’s dusty work, but someone has to do it. The bricks we make are solid enough for any standard construction job around these parts. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just the machines and the stacks of bricks drying in the sun. If you live around Godda or the Anchal area, you probably know where Dumaria is. It’s easy to find. We just focus on getting the mix right so the bricks don't crack when they get to the site. People come by with their trucks or tractors to load up. We keep things simple and try to stay busy. Sometimes the weather makes things slow, especially when it rains a lot and the cement won't set right, but that's just how it goes in this business. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It's nothing fancy, just a regular brick yard doing regular work for the folks living nearby. Most days are pretty much the same for us here in Dumaria.
