Ess Enn Exports

Our office is over in Model Town, right off the G.T. Road in Mandi. It’s a good spot because the highway is right there, making it easy for the trucks to get in and out without getting stuck in the smaller streets. We handle exports, so there’s always a lot of logistics to figure out every single day. The building is an older one, but it does the job and keeps the rain out. We have a small staff here who have been around for a long time. Mostly we’re on the phone or checking the latest shipping schedules on the computer. It gets pretty busy during the peak seasons when everyone wants their stuff at once. Sometimes we stay late to finish up the manifests so the trucks can leave early. The G.T. Road is always humming with traffic, so it’s never really quiet around here even at night. We have a small kitchen in the back where we make tea several times a day for everyone. It helps keep the energy up when things get frantic. We don't use a lot of fancy software, just the basics to keep track of where everything is going. The files are stacked up on the shelves in a way that only we understand. We’ve known the local truck drivers for years now. It’s a relationship built on just being around for a long time. People come in and out all day long. We try to stay on top of the regulations.
