We are located over at No: 6/108 in Minnampalli Post. It is quite near Kottai Marimman Polytechnic College, which most people in the area know. We work with retort foods. It is a way of processing food to make it last, I guess. We have our small unit set up here and it is not a big corporate factory or anything like that. We are just a local team. Most of our day is spent in the kitchen area where we handle the cooking and the packaging. There is usually a lot of steam and the smell of spices in the air. We have been at this spot for a few years now. The neighborhood is quiet, mostly just the college students passing by on their way to class. We don't have a fancy office with leather chairs. It's just a place to get the work done. We focus on the daily tasks like sourcing ingredients and checking the seals on the pouches. It is a lot of hard work and it can be repetitive sometimes. We aren't trying to be some giant brand. We are just R R Retort Foods, doing our thing in Minnampalli. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slow, but we just keep at it. It’s a simple life and we are happy with how things are going here at the post. We just want to keep the machines running and the food moving.
