Pt. Bali Nirwana

Our place is in Navelim, at the Jackbib Residency in Dongri. It is a quiet part of Salcette compared to the tourist spots people think of in Goa. We go by Pt. Bali Nirwana. The office is in Flat No. D-S2. It feels more like a home than a stiff corporate building, which suits us fine. Most days are straightforward. We deal with whatever comes across our desks and try to stay organized. Living and working in Navelim means things move a bit slower. We are not rushing around like people in big cities. We focus on our own tasks and keeping the records straight. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain gets heavy during the monsoon, but we work around it. There is a community here in Dongri. Most people know who we are even if we keep to ourselves. The rooms have the usual stuff—computers, printers, and files stacked up. We have been here for a while and have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It is not a glamorous setup, but it is where we do our business. We handle what needs doing and go home when the clock hits five. It is a decent way to work. We like the fact that we can walk to the local shops during lunch. The air is better here than in the city. We just keep our heads down and do the work that is required of us each week. It stays pretty quiet on most afternoons.
