Phoenix Group

We are tucked away in the Green Acre Apartment, right near the Sofaz Department Store in Colva. It’s a bit different working out of an apartment building compared to a traditional office block, but it works for us. Being in Salcete, we get that Goa atmosphere, which is a bit more relaxed than the big cities, though we still have plenty to do. The Phoenix Group office is just a few rooms where we manage our daily operations. You can usually find a few of us hunched over laptops or talking to people who drop by. Since we are near the department store, there’s always people moving around outside. Inside, it’s mostly just us trying to keep our files in order and our projects on track. We don't go in for all the corporate jargon you hear nowadays. We just talk like normal people and handle things as they come up. Some days are slower than others, especially when the weather is nice and you can feel the sea breeze, but most of the time we are focused on the tasks at hand. We make our own tea in the small kitchen and spend our breaks chatting about whatever is happening in town. It’s a simple, straightforward way to work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big glass building; we just want to do our job from our little corner of Colva and go home.
