Ultratech Cement Ltd

We operate out of Flat S-7 in the Kurtarkar Glory building over in Benaulim. It’s a quiet residential kind of area, so it’s a bit different from a big industrial site. We handle the local side of the cement business from here. It involves a lot of talking to contractors and making sure the bags get to the construction sites on time. Benaulim is a nice place to work, even if we are mostly stuck inside looking at delivery schedules. The office is small and functional. We have a couple of desks and a place to make tea. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just about selling cement and making sure the logistics work out. Sometimes the trucks get stuck or the weather ruins the plans, and we have to spend all day on the phone fixing it. We are just regular people trying to do a good job. We’ve been in this building for a while now, and the neighbors know us. It’s not a flashy setup. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to keep everything organized. Cement isn't the most exciting thing to talk about, but it's what people need to build their homes and shops. We just make sure they can get it without too much of a hassle. We keep some samples around, and there’s usually a bit of dust on the windowsills, but that’s the nature of the trade we are in every day.
