Even though the name says Goa, our office for this part of the work is actually in Shibpur, Howrah. We are on the 3rd floor of Block B-1 in the Ganges Garden. The address is 106 Kiran Chandra Singha Road. It’s a very different vibe here than being at a resort. We are surrounded by the busy streets of Howrah and the sound of the river isn't too far off. We spend our time handling the administrative side of things. There are lots of folders and ledgers stacked up on the desks. The building is an older style, and the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up again. We have windows that look out over the rooftops of the neighborhood. It’s mostly paperwork and phone calls to different departments. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we just have to wait it out. We usually bring our own lunch from home and eat at our desks while we talk about the local news. It’s a quiet office most of the time, just the sound of typing and the ceiling fan. We don't have any big signs out front, just a small nameplate. It is a practical place to get the boring work done so the rest of the business can keep going. We have been in this block for a while and the neighbors know us. It’s just a normal office in a busy part of Bengal where we get through the daily pile of work.
