Unichem Laboratories, Goa

We are part of the Unichem Laboratories Goa team, but this office is based in Mumbai at Shri Karni Niwas. You can find us in Chaithanya Nagar, right by the IIT Market in Powai. Powai is a busy place, especially with the students and the market right there. Shri Karni Niwas is an older building that has a lot of character. We work on the pharmaceutical side of things, so there is a lot of technical talk and sorting through data. The office is usually filled with the sound of typing and the occasional hum of the air conditioner. It is not a very large space, so we all know each other's business pretty well. We have a lot of shelves filled with folders and reference books. Outside, the IIT Market is always buzzing with people buying groceries or students looking for a quick snack. We often head out there ourselves when we need a break from the paperwork. The 400076 zip code area is always active. Even though we are linked to the Goa labs, we are very much a Mumbai office in how we work. We are used to the fast pace and the crowded local trains that some of us take to get here. It is a practical environment where we focus on the science and the logistics of medicine. We don't have any fancy decorations, just the essentials to get our daily tasks done properly.
