La Calypso Hotel, Goa.

Even though our name is La Calypso Hotel, Goa, this specific office is actually in Bhubaneswar. We are located at Shanta Niwas, number 82 Satya Nagar. It is a bit of a funny thing, being in Odisha while talking about a hotel in Goa all day long. Satya Nagar is a nice enough area, fairly central and easy to get to. The office itself is inside a residential-looking building called Shanta Niwas. It is quiet here, which is nice. We spend our time taking bookings and answering questions for people who are planning their holidays. We see a lot of brochures with pictures of the beach and the ocean while we are sitting far away from any coast. It makes you want to go on vacation yourself. Our office is pretty small, just a few desks and some landline phones that ring quite a lot. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, so we watch the world go by when we are on a break. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we get our morning chai. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights outside. Most people who come here have an appointment or they just know where Shanta Niwas is. It is a simple setup but it works for what we need. We are just the middle people helping folks get to their destination for a bit of sun and sand.
