Cipla India Ltd. is located at L-139 in the Verna Industrial Estate, which falls under Salcette in Madgaon. Our site is one of the many busy spots in this industrial zone. It’s a large facility, and we have a lot of different departments working together under one roof. At L-139, the main focus is on the production and packaging of pharmaceutical goods. It’s a very busy environment with trucks constantly arriving to drop off raw materials or pick up finished products. The gate is always a hub of activity. Inside, it’s all about the machines and the people running them. We wear our protective gear and follow the daily schedules as closely as we can. It’s not like a typical office job where you sit at a desk all day. There is a lot of physical activity involved. We have our own routine here, from the morning shift change to the afternoon tea break. The weather in this part of Goa can get really intense, especially during the monsoon, but we keep things moving inside the plant regardless. We don't have any corporate jargon or polished mission statements hanging on the walls. We just have the work that needs to be done and the teams that do it. It’s a solid, practical workplace. Most of us have lived in the Madgaon area for years, so it’s a local job for us.
