My office is tucked away in the Jairam Complex over in Panjim. If you are looking for it, I am in building A1, unit X5. It is a pretty well-known spot because of Mala Lake being right there. I have been working as an architect and interior designer in this part of Goa for some time now. The office isn't anything too flashy, just a place where I can sit down and get the design work done. I handle everything from the initial structural ideas to the final touches inside a room. Often, you will find me surrounded by catalogs and floor plans spread out everywhere. It can get a bit loud in Panjim during the day, but having the lake nearby makes it feel a bit more relaxed. Clients usually come in to talk about their building plans or to pick out colors and tiles. I try to keep things very straightforward and honest with everyone who walks through the door. There is no big marketing talk here, just talk about what can actually be built and what fits the budget. Sometimes I am out on a site visit, so the office might be empty for an hour or two, but mostly I am here at the desk. Being in the heart of the city makes it easy for people to drop by after they finish their other errands. It’s a simple workspace for someone who enjoys the practical side of building things for real people.
