Lone Goat Repair

Lone Goat Repair is based here in Goa. We aren't one of those big touristy spots you see on the posters. It’s just a small workshop where we fix things. We’ve been around for a bit, mostly helping out locals and the occasional person passing through. The pace of life here is okay. We don't rush through the work because we want to make sure it’s done properly. The shop is a bit of a mess sometimes with tools and spare parts everywhere, but that’s just how we work. It’s a one-room or two-room setup depending on how you count the storage. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. It’s just us doing the repairs and answering the phone when it rings. Some days we're working on old machines, other days it’s something newer. We don't really mind either way. Goa is a good place to be, though it gets hot in the afternoons. We usually have the radio playing while we work. It’s a simple existence. We don't make big promises. We just look at what's broken and see if we can get it running again. Most people find us through word of mouth. We’re just a regular part of the neighborhood and we like it that way. We just show up every day and try to fix whatever comes in.
