Kamdhenu Sheets

You can find us over at the Kundaim Industrial Estate. We are located right near Chemtrols Industries Ltd, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Our main thing is handling sheets of all kinds. The yard is usually full of stacks of metal roofing and various flat sheets. Being in an industrial estate in Goa means we have to deal with a lot of rain during the monsoon season. We have to be very careful to keep everything covered so it does not get ruined by the water. The warehouse is basically a large open shed with a high roof. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but this is where all the industrial action happens. We have a small team of guys who handle the loading and unloading. It is a lot of manual labor, moving those heavy sheets around by hand. We do not have a corporate office with carpets or anything like that. It is just a functional space with a few desks and a lot of steel. Sometimes the cows from the nearby village wander into the estate, which is funny to see during a work day. We have a regular group of customers who come from all over the district. They know we stay open until six, but sometimes we leave early on Saturdays if the work is finished. It is a straightforward business. We buy the material, we store it, and we sell it. (257 words)
