Ing Vysya Bank Ltd.

Our office is in Mumbai, specifically in the MIG Colony over in Bandra East. We are at D-80. If you’ve spent any time in Bandra, you know how packed it can get, but the colony is a bit more managed and quiet compared to the main roads. We are a branch of the bank and we’ve been here for a good while now. The space is a bit old-fashioned, but it serves its purpose for the banking we do every day. We see a lot of people from the nearby apartments coming in to take care of their money. It’s a lot of manual work sometimes, even with the computers, because there are always forms to sign and stamps to use. The noise of the city is always there in the background, but we get used to it after a week or two. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a counter, some desks for the managers, and a place for people to stand while they wait their turn. We spend our days counting cash, checking IDs, and making sure the ledgers are right. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we do. We usually grab lunch from the local tiffin services or the stalls nearby. When the workday ends, we fight the Mumbai traffic like everyone else to get home. It’s just a regular bank branch in a busy part of the city.
