Infiniti Modules Pvt. Ltd. is located at 51 A, Pileme Industrial Estate. It’s in Bardez. We’ve been here for a while now. The building isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a standard industrial unit, but it serves its purpose for what we do with modules. Every morning, the gates open around eight and the staff starts trickling in. Some come by bus, others on scooters. You can hear the hum of the machines starting up if you stand near the back wall. The road out front gets quite dusty in the dry season, and then it’s all mud when the monsoon hits Goa. We spend most of our time inside the workshop area. It’s not air-conditioned throughout, so it gets pretty warm in the afternoons. We usually take our breaks together near the side entrance where there’s a bit of a breeze. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time backing into the loading bay because the lane is narrow. We just work through the orders as they come. It’s mostly local guys working here, so the talk is usually about football or what’s happening in the village. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If someone stops by, they usually just find us in the back. It’s just a regular place where we get things done and then head home when the sun goes down.
