Idbi Bank

Our Idbi Bank location is a bit unique because we are situated at house number 168, care of Lily Fernandes, in Soccoro Vaddem. This is in Porvorim, Goa. It’s a much different feel than the big city branches. Things are a bit slower here, which is nice. We are in a residential area, so it feels more like a part of the neighborhood than a cold institution. We handle the banking for the people living nearby. You won't find us in a giant glass building. It’s a more humble setup. We go about our work every day, checking the ledgers and helping people with their accounts. The air in Goa is different, and we keep the windows open when the weather is good. We know the neighbors and the families around here. It’s the kind of place where people stop to chat for a minute while they do their business. We don't use a lot of complicated language. We just explain how things work and get the paperwork signed. It’s about being helpful in a simple way. There are just a few of us working here. We manage the daily tasks and make sure everything is in order before we head out. It’s a quiet, honest way to run a branch in a place like Porvorim. We don't need much more than our desks and a bit of patience to get through the afternoon.
