Goa Antibiotics & Pharmaceuticals Limited

Goa Antibiotics & Pharmaceuticals Limited is out near the Tuem Industrial Estate. It’s in the Pernem area. Being near the industrial estate means we are surrounded by a lot of other factories and warehouses. It’s not like the touristy parts of Goa at all. It’s a lot of concrete and trucks and people in work clothes. We have a fairly large space because of the nature of what we do. The building is older, but it’s sturdy. The commute out to Tuem can be a bit long for some of us, but the roads are okay. We spend a lot of time in the production and storage areas. It’s not a place for sitting around. There is always something that needs to be moved or checked. The humidity can be tough in the summer, but we have some cooling systems in the important rooms. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We are mostly just technicians and office staff. We eat our lunch together in a small break room. Sometimes you can see the hills in the distance if the weather is clear. It’s a hardworking environment. We don't try to dress things up. It’s an industrial site and it looks like one. We are just here to do the work and keep things moving according to the schedule. Everyone here knows the routine and we just get on with it.
