Royale Assagao Resort

Royale Assagao Resort is located right in the middle of Assagao village in Bardez. It’s a quiet part of the area, though it can get very humid in the afternoons. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are ready and the grounds look okay. The village life moves a bit slower here than in the bigger towns, which is nice. Most of us who work here live nearby, so we know the shortcuts through Assagao. Sometimes the power flickers when the monsoon starts, but that’s just part of living in this part of Goa. We aren't a massive chain hotel with scripted greetings. Usually, you’ll find one of us near the entrance or fixing something that broke in the heat. The building has been here for a bit, so it has its quirks. We try to keep the garden tidy, but the tropical plants grow faster than we can trim them sometimes. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. Cleaning, checking the pool, and talking to people who wander in looking for a room. Assagao is a beautiful spot, even with the dusty roads. We see the same faces every day. It’s not a high-pressure environment, just a place where we do our jobs and go home to our families in the evening. There's a dog that hangs around the gate sometimes. It feels more like a house than a big business most of the time. We just keep things running.
