Ap Techno & Paints

If you head over to Marcel, you'll find us at Plot No. 34 in the Rukmini Complex. It’s called Ap Techno & Paints. We handle a lot of different things, mostly paint and some technical supplies for house repairs. The complex is pretty easy to spot in Chimulvada. I spend a lot of my day mixing colors or looking up part numbers. It’s a bit dusty in here sometimes because of all the construction going on nearby. We get a lot of local workers and homeowners coming in for supplies. I try to keep the shelves organized, but it’s a constant battle with all the cans and brushes. Marcel is a good area, and we’ve made a lot of friends since we opened here. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just us behind the counter. Sometimes the computer acts up and we have to write things down by hand. It’s a practical kind of place. We don’t try to be something we’re not. If we don’t have what you need, I usually tell you where else you might find it. We close up around dinner time and head home. The weekends are usually the busiest when people are working on their own houses. It’s a lot of work keeping everything in stock, but we’ve got a system that mostly works for us. We also keep some cleaning supplies and basic tools because people always seem to forget those when they start a painting project at home. It is just a normal shop run by normal people.
