Ark Shipping Management Company

Our office is at 6, Defence Colony. It’s a bit of a quieter area compared to the main commercial hubs, which we actually quite like. Ark Shipping Management Company is where we manage various shipping operations and keep track of vessels. It’s a small, dedicated space where we do a lot of our thinking and planning. We don’t have a huge staff, just a few people who really know the maritime industry. The walls are mostly covered with maps and schedules. We spend a lot of time coordinating with crews and making sure everything is running smoothly out on the water. It’s not a job for everyone because the hours can be a bit weird depending on what time zone the ships are in. We often find ourselves here late at night or early in the morning. The office has a bit of a homey feel since it’s in Defence Colony. We have a small kitchen where we make coffee and sometimes eat our meals together when things are busy. We aren't interested in being the biggest company out there. We just want to do a solid job managing the ships we have. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we’ve been doing it long enough that we have a good rhythm. No one here wears a suit unless they absolutely have to. We prefer to keep things casual and just focus on the work at hand.
