Sandeep Light House

Our shop is on Argaghat Road, situated quite close to Dr. R.R. Burnwal’s clinic in Makatpur. Most of the locals know exactly where that is, so it makes it easy to find us. We deal with all kinds of lighting and electrical supplies. The inside of the shop is a bit of a maze with wires, bulbs, and fixtures everywhere you look. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we like the clutter. We spend a lot of our time testing out bulbs on a small wooden board we rigged up near the counter. It’s important to make sure everything works before a customer leaves. We have a small bench out front where neighbors often sit to catch up on gossip while the sun goes down. The building is quite old and the floorboards creak when you walk on them. We don't have any flashy signs or bright logos, just a simple painted board above the door. My family has been running this light house for a long time, and we know most of our customers by their first names. It’s a friendly way to work. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if someone needs a part urgently. We don't have a computer system, so everything is tracked in a big black diary. It’s a quiet, steady business and we are happy to be a part of the Makatpur community.
