BAIDYA NATH WEIGHING MACHINE CO. is located right in Sihodih, which is very close to Giridih College in Jharkhand. Being near a college means there is always a lot of activity on the streets. We see students walking by all the time, and the local tea stalls are usually pretty crowded. Our shop isn’t very large, but it’s got enough room for the weighing machines we work on. We open the doors early in the morning and start our day by cleaning off the dust that settles overnight. Giridih can be a bit of a dusty place, especially during the dry season. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals written on the walls. We just focus on the machines and the people who bring them in. It’s straightforward work that requires a bit of patience and a steady hand. Most of our days are spent sitting at the workbench or talking to neighbors who stop in to say hello. We like being part of the Sihodih community. It feels real and grounded. We don’t spend money on big advertisements or flashy signs. Most people find us because they know we’ve been here for a long time. It’s just a regular local business where we try to do a decent job without making a big fuss about it. We stay until the evening sun goes down and then head home like everyone else. It’s a good way to live and work.
