Irada N G O is based in Giridih, Jharkhand, with the pincode 815301. We’ve been operating out of this area for quite some time now. Our office is a humble one, tucked away where the locals can easily find us. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine. We have mismatched chairs and a lot of old files stacked up in the corners. In Giridih, things move a bit slower than in the big cities, and we’ve grown to appreciate that. The air here feels different, and the people are mostly neighbors we’ve known for years. We spend our days talking to people who walk in off the street or planning out what we need to do next. There is no air conditioning here, just the windows left open and the occasional breeze coming through. We don't have a marketing team to make us look big; we are just a small group of people trying to stay busy. Sometimes the internet is slow, or the power goes out, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It’s a very honest way to spend the day. We don't worry about being polished or looking corporate. We just focus on the stuff that needs our attention right here in our small corner of Jharkhand. It’s a practical setup and we are quite content with how we manage things around here.
