Ambuja Cement Ltd

You can find us at Satyam Society, room 102, over in Kodinar. It’s a residential-feeling area, which makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed than being right on a main highway. We handle the Ambuja Cement Ltd side of things for this part of Junagadh. The office is really just a simple room with enough space for our computers and a few chairs for visitors to sit in. It’s not a place where you will find polished marble or anything like that. We have some posters on the wall that have been there for years, and they are starting to fade a bit. Most of our morning is spent checking emails and making sure the supplies are moving along the right routes. We talk to a lot of local contractors. Sometimes we have to explain why a truck is running late because of the bad roads, but people here are usually pretty understanding. We drink a lot of water because it gets so dry during the day. The atmosphere is just regular people working. We don't use big words or act like we are more important than we are. It’s a small team, so we all know each other’s business and families. It makes the day go by faster. We’re just a small piece of a bigger company, tucked away in a quiet society, doing what needs to be done every day to keep the local building projects going.
