Somnath B Ed College

Somnath B Ed College is located right on the Veraval Highway in Kodinar. We are in the Junagadh district, and our pin code is 362720. Being on the highway means there is always a lot of movement outside our gates. Inside, it is where we train people who want to become teachers. It is a specific kind of place with a lot of textbooks and lesson planning going on. We have been here for a while, and the building is quite easy to spot if you are driving toward Veraval. The atmosphere is generally quiet because everyone is focused on their studies, but the staff room is always a bit noisy with talk about the day's work. We aren't a big city institution with glass walls. We are just a local college in Junagadh. The sun gets pretty hot out here, so we appreciate the shade we have. Most of our students are from this part of Gujarat. They come here because they want to work in schools nearby. We just provide the space and the materials they need. There is no corporate polish here. It’s just a group of people working together in a practical way. We deal with the usual daily issues like keeping the fans running and making sure the library is in order. It’s a simple, honest place to work and learn. We have been doing this for years and plan to keep at it for many more.
