Shree Sardar Patel Vidhyalay

We have been here in Manavadar for quite a while now. The school building sits right in the middle of town, so most people know where it is without needing a map. It is not some fancy modern structure, just a plain place for the local kids to come and spend their day learning. Every morning, you can hear the gate creak when the first students show up. Most of them walk from the nearby streets here in the Junagadh district. We have a playground that gets pretty dusty during the summer months, but the kids do not seem to mind it much. The classrooms have these old wooden desks that have been around for many years. Sometimes the ceiling fans make a bit of a clicking noise, but they keep the air moving enough to be comfortable. We spend most of our time just getting through the daily syllabus and making sure the students actually turn in their homework. Sometimes parents drop by to ask how their children are doing. We usually just sit in the small office and have some tea while we talk. It is a busy place, especially when exam season comes around and everyone gets a little bit stressed out. On rainy days, the ground outside gets a bit muddy, but we just manage. We do not have any big fancy signs or a big marketing budget. It is just a regular school where we see the same familiar faces every single day.
