Madhav Mega Mart

Our place is right on the Kodinar-Veraval Highway Road, specifically at shops 36 and 37. We are part of the Sugar Factory Shopping Center, which is a pretty well-known spot around here. If you are driving along the highway and see Hotel Sunshine, we are directly across from it. Being on the highway means we get a lot of dust and noise from the trucks passing by at all hours. The shopping center itself is a long building with many different businesses. Our mart takes up two of the units. Inside, we have rows of shelves that we try to keep stocked up as much as possible. It’s not one of those polished city malls, but it gets the job done for people living nearby or passing through. We spend a lot of time rearranging items or checking what needs to be ordered. The lighting inside is just regular tube lights. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front glass pretty hard, so it can get a bit warm near the entrance. We have a small counter where we sit and wait for customers. Most people who stop by are either locals from the sugar factory area or travelers looking for a quick stop. We don’t do anything fancy with the display. We just put things where they fit. It is a simple, hardworking environment where we try to keep things moving day after day.
