Surya Prakash Exports

Surya Prakash Exports is located at No. 1 Kuamrasamy Street. It is a small street and sometimes the big trucks have a hard time getting in and out, but we make it work somehow. The office is right at the corner. We spend most of our time on the phone or typing away at the old computers we've had for years. There’s a lot of back and forth with the suppliers to get everything lined up. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for quite some time now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint but nobody has much time for that right now with all the orders coming in. We handle the export side of things, getting various items ready for the long journey ahead of them. It’s a lot of checking boxes and signing forms until our hands get tired. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back on. It gives us a chance to talk about the weather or something other than work for once. We know the neighbors on Kuamrasamy Street pretty well by now. It’s a decent place to work and we don't complain. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do the shipping work, and go home to our families at night. Every day is pretty much the same routine but that’s fine with us. We just focus on getting the cargo moved properly.
