J.K. Clinic

This J.K. Clinic is up in Pannaikadu at the J. K Institute. Being part of the institute means we see a lot of the same faces every day. Pannaikadu has its own way of doing things, and we just fit into that rhythm. The air is a bit different up here than in the lower towns. We keep the clinic open during regular hours, mostly dealing with whatever comes through the door. The rooms are basic. We have a desk, some chairs, and the usual supplies tucked away in the cabinets. It’s not a huge operation. We mostly just handle the day-to-day stuff that people need help with. Sometimes it gets a bit quiet when the institute is on break, but there is always something to tidy up or organize. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or big banners. The floors are stone and they stay cold, which is nice when it gets warm outside. We've got a small staff and we all do a bit of everything, from answering the phone to cleaning the windows. It’s a practical setup. People in Pannaikadu know where to find us if they need us. We don't make a big deal out of it. It’s just a small clinic inside the institute grounds, doing its thing year after year. We keep things simple because that's what works best for us and the people who live and study around here.
