Friends Arts & Car Accessories

If you go near the bus stand by the Panchayati Dharmshala, you’ll see Friends Arts & Car Accessories. It’s a lively spot because of all the travelers and buses coming through all day long. We deal with all sorts of things for cars, from seat covers and floor mats to some of the smaller decorative items people like to put on their dashboards. We also do some lettering and art work for the vehicles. The shop is usually crowded with boxes and samples because there are so many different car models out there. Customers often pull their cars right up to the front so we can fit the parts or show them how something looks. It gets pretty dusty with the buses pulling in and out nearby, but we’re used to the noise and the commotion. It’s just me and a couple of friends running the place. We didn’t want to work in an office, so we started this instead. People stop by while they’re waiting for their bus or if they just bought a new car and want to fix it up a bit. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just talk to the people who walk in. Some days are slow, especially when it rains, but usually, there’s someone looking for a new set of wipers or a steering wheel cover for their long drive.
