Our office is located at Cement House over on 121 Maharshi Karve Road. If you know Mumbai, you know how much traffic flows past this spot every single day. It’s a busy stretch of road, and sometimes the noise from the street carries right up into the rooms. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. It has that older feel to it, not like those glass towers you see popping up everywhere else. There’s a lot of history in these walls, with stacks of files and desks that have seen better days but still work just fine. People come in for meetings or to drop off papers, and there’s usually someone waiting in the lobby area. We try to keep things organized, but on busy Mondays, it can get a little chaotic with everyone talking at once. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is something we all look forward to. It’s not a flashy setup, just a place where we sit down and get the administrative side of things handled. Most of us take the train in and walk from the station, dodging the rain during monsoon season. It’s just a standard office life here at 121 Maharshi Karve Road. We don't spend much time worrying about decor; we just focus on the stack of work on our desks and getting home before the rush hour gets too bad.
