Our little company, Unaiba Construction Private Limited, is based in Daudpur. Our office is actually at House Number 38. If you’re familiar with the Mohammadabad area in Ghazipur, you’ll know it’s a place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We’ve been doing construction work from this house for a good while. It’s a family-style operation where the lines between home and work get a little blurry sometimes. We focus on building houses and small commercial structures for people in and around Ghazipur. We don't have a big fleet of fancy trucks or expensive equipment. We use what we have and we hire local guys who need the work. Sometimes it’s hard to find the right materials in town, so we have to source them from further away, but we always figure it out. The work is dusty and loud, but there’s a lot of satisfaction in seeing a wall go up where there was nothing before. We don't bother with fancy websites or social media much. Most of our jobs come from neighbors who saw a house we built and wanted something similar. It’s a slow and steady way to run a business, but it’s kept us going through some tough years. We just take it one brick at a time and try to stay busy. It is not a complicated life but it is ours.
